“Property was perfect for a large family. We loved having the firepit, pier, kayaks, and paddle board. The kitchen was huge and had everything you could need or want . Bedrooms were well equipped with extra blankets, pillows, etc. AC worked well, showers had good pressure, beds on the firm side. We appreciated the firewood the house had. It was nice not to have to run out and buy. We had a great stay and can’t wait to come back ”

“We greatly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was very peaceful and felt secluded - especially with the sandbar across the river making it feel like you were really out in nature. The cabin was stocked with everything that you would need. We really appreciated all of the notes that the owner had posted that explained how to operate things and where to find things. The binder provided excellent information on nearby activities and resources. Overall, we had an excellent time and would highly……

“The relaxing evenings were nice by the firepit. Neighbor extremely quiet. Home had every kitchen appliance and utensil to cook, plus spices were provided. Plenty of towels available for the swimming. The township of Fox Lake had a wonderful public children's water park only a couple miles away. Bathrooms were stocked in case you forgot anything. Kathy was absolutely wonderful allowing for friends to come over for a birthday party for our granddaughter.”

“The host was amazing! Communicated regularly with us and gave us restaurant recommendations along with other things to do. The house was updated and well maintained and stocked with everything needed for a week long get-a-way with the family. The owner is working on updating the yard but that didn't deter us from enjoying the sunset views over the lake and taking a boat out daily from her dock. We would absolutely stay again!”

“The house was very old but very nicely updated. The bed and couch were comfortable. My only complaint was the shower head had no pressure. The water was nice and hot though! We had an issue with the tv but the hosts were quick to fix it (previous guest had deleted several apps off of the tv). Very homey. Would definitely stay here again!”
