“We had a lovely stay at the cottage for 1 week in November. The same parking spot right outside the door of the cottage was always there for us. There was COMPLETE silence even though it is in the town centre. Local takeouts are closeby, within walking distance, also groceries, pharmacy ,cafes etc and by walking distance i mean within 5 mins, at a leisurely pace. Lismore is an extremely quiet town. There are pubs but no customers, that we saw. Im assuming summertime is the busy season. The……

“The cottage was exactly as described! It was clean, everything was in good working order and the garden was just lovely. The property manager was quick to respond to questions and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful walks in the forest and quaint little village. Just be aware that the only shop closes at 7 pm.”

“Highly recommend. Great little prefab cabin. All as advertised. 30 min. to Cork or Wsterford. Excellent for a weekend or a week. Studio size w bedroom, en suite, kitchen/dining/living combo. Private outdoor area. Cormac was a friendly host. Quick drive or short walk to beach. Ballymaloe Culinary School w. Farm and Gardens less than 10 mins drive. Nice pub in village - the Goalpost. Finer hotel w. dining and bar near the beach and a number of good resturants across the bay. ”
