“Mariza and Barry have set up a comfortable home away from home for their guests. We were greeted with fresh flowers, yummy homemade bakes and general comfort. This Cottage is well appointed while still being appropriate for children to stay. Mariza was easy to communicate with and even brought her dogs by to meet us on our last morning. We visited Blarney Castle which was fabulous! Explored Cork a bit and visited Bunratty Castle. I highly recommend both castles as all day experiences. Thank you……

“This cottage is amazing which is very tastefully decorated with all mod cons you could possible need for a relaxing stay. The owner was very kind and went out of his way to ensure we had a great stay . It was nice to read all the history of the cottage . I am very fussy and like holiday homes to be of a good standard this cottage most definitely exceeded our expectations . Cant wait to return 5 stars”

“Cozy Cottage is an amazing place to stay. And we had a difficult time leaving. It is a beautiful home with a view of the lake, swans, sheep and cows. The accommodations were perfect. Tabitha (our host) is a wonderful woman who provided eggs, homemade bread, jam, butter and milk for our first meal. We loved the dogs that would visit us. This location is easy to find and there is a lot to do in the area. We enjoyed the Friars Abby in Kilmallock and Lough Gur. We plan to return. Hands down……

“We had the best time! We used this as a home base to be able to travel around to all the sites in the central and southern parts of the country. A few hiccups figuring out the hot water but the host was right on things getting back to me immediately. We loved the pubs here, OKellehers and Healy's and met some locals that we hope to remain friends with...absolutely wonderful time and the house was spacious and clean. ”

“Amazing! A true hidden gem. Our family loved staying at the thatch cottage which was clean, comfortable, and great place to reset after a long day of sightseeing. David was extremely helpful. My teens loved hanging out with Jake and Ted who welcomed us back to the cottage daily. We didn’t want our stay to end and will definitely return. ”

“Absolutely adored this place!!! Cozy and warm, sweet touches like a homemade pie on our arrival, umbrella for our use, friendly farm animals, easy and quick communication with the owners. “As a large family with siblings travelling in from around the world to celebrate my fathers 80th birthday, we spent weeks trying to find a venue that would be suitable for a large family with kids ranging from 2 to 18. This venue was absolutely perfect for a weekend gathering of all ages . Maretta was so helpful in helping us coordinate a jumping castle, catering, a birthday cake. The space was perfect for a large group and Maretta and her husband couldn't have been more helpful. The bar area……
