“What an assume little “motel, not really a motel like others around though as their rooms are redone cabooses. It’s absolutely awesome sleeping in a very clean and cute, authentic caboose. Adorable, clean, and so much fun. You can also watch the Strasburg train pass right from your front door. The restaurant, Casey Jones, is very convenient, the food is good and the staff are all amazing. We’re already making plans to come back with our granddaughter. ”

“Stay was better than expected. Was nervous based on mixed reviews and dated appearance that we would have unwelcomed visitors (bed bugs). But we did not have any issues. Rooms were small but clean. Beds were comfortable. We were there for my daughter’s volleyball tournament at Spooky Nook. Breakfast was decent, they even made sure the team could grab and go before their first game despite breakfast not starting yet. “This was our second time staying at Creekside Cottage. It's cozy and well-stocked, with plenty of space for our 3 families coming together to celebrate New Years Eve. We like the quiet location. It doesn't feel like a generic rental, it feels like a home. We played lots of board games and roasted smores in the firepit. I would recommend to families who want to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the creek and the horseback riders passing through. ”
