Unfortunately, he placed me in a very noisy room directly overlooking ongoing construction work next to the hotel.
The situation did not end there. To my surprise, I discovered that there was no hot water in the bathroom and no internet service. When I asked the staff to resolve the issue, I was informed that there was a technical problem with the hot water system in my room, which required shutting it off completely. Another unpleasant experience occurred the following morning when I went to the restaurant for breakfast. The restaurant was overcrowded, and I was asked to provide my room number to wait for my turn to enter. I waited for a very long time—almost half an hour—without success, and eventually had to return to my room and take my breakfast outside the hotel. To make matters worse, the water pressure in the bathroom was extremely weak.
