We want to make sure you have the utmost convenience! You'll be provided an access code to the back entrance prior to check-in. The owners are local, and will be able to be reached by platform messaging during the duration of your stay.
Conveniently located near several key attractions. Claytor Lake is particularly close, being only about a 10-minute drive away, which offers a variety of outdoor activities including swimming, hiking, and boating.
The house is conveniently located between two major universities —approximately 8 miles from Radford University and about 18 miles from Virginia Tech
All areas around the house are accessible by Guests. There is a firepit off to the side of the house, along with a small stack of firewood for you use.
Please note that there is no access to the lake. But the home is located within minutes from the Claytor Lake State Park!
Well-equipped kitchen adjacent to a spacious living room, both designed with a modern and coastal decor. This home also includes a full bathroom and a spacious bedroom: a master with bunk beds, ideal for children or extra guests. The property boasts a large deck with outdoor seating and dining areas, overlooking a lush lawn and the lake, complemented by a quaint garden shed equipped with outdoor chairs. A laundry room with modern appliances ensures all domestic needs are met, making this an ideal retreat for both relaxation and enjoying local attractions like Claytor Lake.
From the vicinity of Claytor Lake State Park, start by exiting via State Park Rd. Turn right onto Wilderness Rd and travel for about 3.4 miles. Then, take a right turn onto Claytor Dam Rd and proceed for approximately 0.9 miles. You will find Tradewinds Rd on your left; follow this road to its end. Continue straight past a brick column marked with a "B," and proceed down the graveled driveway, which will lead directly to the house.
Parking spaces are located in front of the garage door. There is ample parking for 3-4 cars, and the parking area has enough room to turn a boat trailer around if you choose to bring your boat!
- The house is located on a quiet street, please be courteous of the neighbors and keep noise levels low
- Do not run air conditioning with doors open
- Ensure all windows and doors are locked when checking out
- Parties are not allowed, and will not be tolerated. Guests who violate quiet hours (9pm - 8am) will be notified once, and then asked to leave on the second violation.
- No pets allowed
- Fireplaces are not to be used by guests
- Put all trash in trash Bins located behind shed. Please make sure all trash is bagged.
