“On check-in day, I could not get a response from the property owner. One hour after check-in time the property owner canceled my reservation and we were left out in the cold, 42 degrees. I booked this 1.5 months ago and it was utterly ridiculous that it was canceled an hour after our check-in time. ”

“Talbot House is not in the safest area. Be safe and cautious, especially at night. The description of the property does not explain two of the four bedrooms have small single beds very low to the ground with slanted ceilings. The property is rustic. ”

“Wonderful location in central Dublin - looking out over the Liffey. Beds were comfortable, and lots of room to gather. Amenities are good, with plenty of towels. Would recommend cleaning the throw rugs, which have lots of obvious stains - unbecoming of such a great place to stay. Would recommend.”

“The suite is huge with lots of character in an old building. The kitchen is great with everything you need to prepare meals. There are multiple grocery stores within short walking distance. The area is lovely and walkable, we felt safe being out at night. Be careful when taking a shower as the hot water runs out after 10 minutes. Also the WIFI didn't work while we were there but we didn't get a chance to talk to the front desk. Also know that if you are booking the suite, it is separate from the……

“I stayed here with 20 of my friends for St. Patricks Day and it was great! The property is very roomy with very comfy beds and many bathrooms. Everything was very up to date. Check-in and communication with the host was very easy. The location of the property was good as well. The only downside was that the lights in the basement do not turn off and made it a bit uncomfortable for the girls sleeping on the pull out couches, since we had 21 people. Overall I would recommend!! 10/10 ”

“We loved our time in Howth. Our apartment was in a perfect location, had lots of charm, and walking distance to everything. Karl was very responsive to questions and a great overall host. The night we arrived the restaurant was open for dinner. He worked is in and had a table ready for us. The food and atmosphere were amazing. We highly recommend It. We also did a guided hiking tour with Howth Adventure, then went on a boat ride tour. Overall a great place to visit. ”

“This property was booked 6 weeks in advance, we landed in Dublin and at 4pm was heading to the property only for the owner to tell us that he has cancelled on us leaving us stranded in the middle of Dublin with nowhere to stay. Disgraceful service and ruined a special trip. ”
