It was worth all of the stairs

The apartment was fabulous! The location was great for our daily adventures. As we were all 70+, the stairs were not desirable, but, the apartment, view and deck at the top made it worth it. Luggage, however, was a whole 'luther issue!

WOWSERS with tiny showers

the apartment is magnificent, the location is perfect, and the view is to kill for. property is well taken care of as well, and the host is super friendly and nice. my only strife is the really small showers, and lack of shower in the really big bathroom, (which has a tub, but no shower). this was a bit of a problem for 5 guys all over 6 feet tall, but otherwise should be okay for shorter and smaller people.

Beautiful Villa

Very roomy and well stocked villa with beautiful views and a swimming area close by. Initially there were some issues with cleanliness but the host responded right away and took care of it.

Amazing property

Amazing views, great location, beach right down the stairs, close to old town Dubrovnik, great accommodations. The owners were very responsive and gave us great suggestions. I would recommend staying in the house.

Perfect for Families

This property was perfect for our stay. The host was amazing, super responsive, and accommodating. We enjoyed the comfort of Villa Rosemary and the proximity to the Rixos was nice because we were able to use the pool and other amenities there in addition to our stay at the Villa. The beach was a short walk (maybe 10 min.) and the Old city about 25min. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back in the future.

Beautiful Villa!

We were three couples that stayed at the villa. The property is lovely & set above the beach with views from several rooms. There is easy access down to the beach (not for handicap) as well as a nice resort where you can rent a day bed. We did go to the resort & while the front desk lounge charge was 80 euro for the day, when we asked at the pool bar, they were willing to charge only 30 euro if you ate or drank there. I am not sure if this would be the case during high season. We were there June 6-11. The villa itself is lovely & was clean. There are AC units throughout & a washing machine. There is outside space which we utilized for happy hour. Communications with the owner was great. It should be noted in the event you have three couples like ourselves, that there is 2 full bathrooms with showers & a small half bath. The entry to the two bathrooms with showers are located in their adjoining bedrooms. That meant the last bedroom did not have a dedicated shower & they had to use the showers located in the other two bedrooms. The location is about a 15-20 minute lovely walk to the walled city of Dubrovnik. You can hop on a bus easily for about 2 euro. If you get the Dubrovnik Pass (which I suggest), it is included. As a side note, do not take taxis which are outrageously expensive. Take Uber or Lyft which are reasonable. Rent a scooter for the day up the street! Super fun & cheap. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Review of our stay at Villa Rosemary

We had a large group (over 50) visiting Dubrovnik with most of them staying at the 'Rixos' luxury hotel. We desired to stay somewhere with more of a Dubrovnik experience. Villa Rosemary was an excellent choice. Great location (a leisurely 10 minute walk along the water to the 'Old City'). Check in and check out was seamless as was our communication with Srdan through 'Whatsapp'.. all questions we're answered immediately . The accommodations at the house were very nice with nothing lacking. We had four of us staying there but it can accomodate 6 easily as one of the rooms was not even used. Great value for the money. and would highly recommend.

Tolle Villa fußläufig zur Altstadt

Sehr liebevoll und vollständig eingerichtete Villa, die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Ideal um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Kiesstrand ist über Treppen erreichbar. Die Altstadt ist in 20 min fußläufig erreichbar.

Dubrovnik Delight

Great location with beautiful view. Close to the restaurants named Taj Mahal and Magellan. We found the beds too soft but they would be ok if you like a foam mattress. Construction workers on the outside of the building start early and make noise most of the day.

Beautiful home, fantastic location

Property is perfect location, only 15-20 min walk to Old Town. Quiet neighborhood, easy access to small convenience store and bakery and a few nice restaurants. The view from the patio is amazing Loved that we could walk down the steps to the beach and swim. House is very clean, kitchen well stocked (coffee machine + filters- very important for the addicts). Everything is very tastefully decorated. Washing machine + detergent was nice since we went through a lot of clothes sweating in the heat. Patio is big and provided a nice place for coffee and a yoga/exercise area for my friends and I in the mornings. Beds were comfortable, and bedrooms were spacious. Bathrooms are small but very clean. The whole place has a very fresh modern “new” feel inside but looks very “old” and charming outside. Probably the cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed at. Very accommodating host who arranged transportation from airport also. Highly recommend, traveled with friends.

Incredible Home!

This was a WONDERFUL home in every way! Our check-in was smooth, we were met by Srdjan and showed the house, etc. We had more than enough room and the home was "spotless!" The ocean views and proximity to the Old City make this house a 11!!! We couldn't have been more satisfied and our stay was just abslutely delightful! We would come back to visit the VILLA ROSEMARY, without hesitation!

Wonderful

The Villa Rosemary was just as expected a lovely property. The walk into the Old Town takes longer than advertised I would say 20 minutes and the walk back is uphill so worth a bus ride or taxi. Loved the local Cats who visited for food on a daily basis. Would definitely return. Thank you to Srdjan for all his help he arranged our transport too and from the airport which was great.

An excellent stay in a lovely villa.

Our group of 6 very much enjoyed our stay in Villa Rosemary. The location is outstanding, overlooking a lovely swimming cove, although it is a steep walk back up. The villa is very comfortable and well-equipped with good quality appliances. It was pleasant being away from the noise and crowds of the old town and the bus service into the old town is convenient to the villa. Our host, Srdjan, was extemely friendly and helpful. We are happy to recommend Villa Rosemary.

Great convenient location to explore Dubrovnik

Family vacation, one father and 4 adult children. We did not have car, and were able to get everywhere we needed by taxi, bus, and Uber, Villa is well equipped and comfortable. Restaurant recommendations we right on. Only negative, is we like to cook and we were unable to find nearby market with farmer’s market quality products. Minimart is very close. An outdoor grill would also be ideal

Beautiful property in an excellent location

We picked Villa Rosemary based on the pictures and we were not disappointed. It was a beautiful property, about 20mts walk from old town and right by a beautiful beach. The house was tastefully decorated with quality furniture, had plenty of towels and a well stocked kitchen. The outdoor sitting area was also equally inviting with beautiful lavender & rosemary beds. The owner was very responsive to our needs, he arranged for a cab to pick us up and immediately addressed issues like when the internet stopped working. We had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this property!!!

The Villa was great...

Fantastic vacation property for our family. We did not mind being out of the core old city area, very quiet and a nice, little used beach right below. The villa was well furnished and stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed it very much and would absolutely stay there again when we return to Dubrovnik.

Great traditional stone building, all amenities, short walk to old town, access to beach,

This was a great property for the two couples on our trip together. Easy access to the old town, great views, expansive sunny terraces. Behind the traditional stone exterior is a stylish and well equipped 3 bedroom house. Check in was very efficient and Srdjan and Jenny were very helpful during our stay. This is a great property to be close enough to experience the old town of Dubrovnik but also have a quiet respite from the crowds if needed.

Srdjan made us feel welcome and made sure we knew that we could contact him at any time if there was a problem We had slight problem with a cistern in one of the toilets, it was rectified immediately Villa is only a 15 minute walk all downhill to the old town Taxi or bus back takes a few minutes Villa has everything you need and there is a nice bakery a few minutes away and a supermarket just past the Rixos hotel next to the villa A couple of nice restaurants at the top of the stairs round from the villa el torro and fine dining st Magellan Great family holiday which we all enjoyed

Fantastisk sted. tæt på det perfekte

Dubrovnik centrum og samtidigt tæt på vandet, så finder man ikke meget bedre sted end dette. Afstanden til den gamle by (Pile Gate) er 1,6 km, og derfor nok mere 15-20 minutters gang end de 10 minutter der reklameres med. Men når bussen går ofte og taxa er nemt/billigt, så går det. De 50 meter til havet er også målt i fugleflugt, reelt skal man gå ca 200 meter ad trapper for at nå vandet, men det er herligt vand og turen værd. Vi savnede lidt en større terrasse vendt mod vandet, men det er vist på vej. Så mangler der bare en gril. Husets værter er en helt særlig historie - fantastiske mennesker der gør deres yderste for at gæsterne skal få et godt ophold. Så hvis turen går til Dubrovnik igen, så kan det meget vel være at Villa Rosemary får et gensyn - også selv om prisen er i den høje ende, men beliggenhed koster som bekendt.

Great base for the Old Town

Fantastic location only 15 min walk from the city walls (No. 4 bus back up the hill if needed!) Villa is set above a lovely, stony beach 5 mins walk down a steep hill and stairs (not suitable for the elderly or infirm). Great for swimming. Apartment was clean and modern and had most home comforts, but was missing a few basics, e.g. Toaster and usable oven shelves. Outside space was beautiful with great views, but the area sometimes got a bit noisy in the evenings and early mornings. Srdjan was a wonderful host and overall we had a fantastic week.
