“I gave it a 4 but it’s really a 3.5. Good location on the water. Great view. Plenty of beds (two families, total of 9 people). Dock was ok / sufficient for a weekend. Jet ski port was great. There’s not really a fire pit at the property… it’s just a circle of concrete blocks close to two buildings with very tall grass around it. The basement ceiling is very low so even a 5’5” person has to bend down to shower. The upstairs bedroom has an exhaust fan in it, with a sign that says to turn the fan……

“This was our first experience with a floating house, we have rented houseboats on other lakes in the past. It's like a bigger, nicer houseboat and you don't have to worry about generator fuel. lol. The jumping deck and slide kept the kids entertained nicely. The covered sitting areas were a blessing in the afternoon sun or when a rain shower would blow through. We had one little hiccup with access, but the owner and manager had it rectified before I could make my second trip to get the rest of……

“No room to park even a small trailer at bottom of driveway. Boat parking IS allowed overnight at the Anderson County launch ramp. ”

“We loved our stay at Playin’ Hooky! The house was perfect for our group. They truly thought of everything when getting this house prepared for guests. They had games, toys for the kids, high chairs, detergent, etc. The only complaint I would have would be the dead bugs. Lots of carpenter bees, flies, wasps in the window sills in every room. ”

The house was very clean, spacious, well maintained, and fully equipped with everything you may need. The host was very responsive and had great communication throughout the whole stay. The views of the lake from the house were absolutely stunning! We also rented a pontoon boat from them and the boat was in great……
