“I will happily admit that I booked this not really knowing anything about the property but we needed somewhere to stay that was inexpensive. We were visiting the area to see family. The accommodation on the website says shared bathrooms- not something we really wanted but nevertheless it turned out that we had a room with our own toilet and wash basin. There were shower rooms and bathrooms close to all the rooms in our part of the accommodation. The decor is a bit tired but I understand that it……

The wood burning stove after a long rainy walk was just the perfect welcome, comfortable mezzanine bed, great shower and very clean throughout and every detail well thought through. Relaxed stay, if you’re looking for somewhere very peaceful. Surrounded by beautiful garden and birds. ”

“We had a great stay. The cottage had everything we needed, plus the lovely view. Findochty is a very photogenic village, so I was out and about taking photos at all hours! On our arrival we were welcomed by dolphins frolicking in the sea in front of the cottage. The evening before our departure we were treated to the sight of a pod of orcas cruising past, quite close to the shore. ”

“This was a great place to stay for our group of twelve. There are plenty of bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, a huge dining room, two family rooms, and many places to hang out together or get away for some privacy. The showers are all heat-on-demand, so you never have to wait for hot water. The kitchen is large and well stocked. We had some trouble with the washing machine, but the host was responsive and delivered a substitute washer the same day. We would definitely come back.”
