“100+% meeting expectation. Good beds, room just as in pictures, very clean, excellent location, noisy at evening (as we knew in advance) but not a problem with earplugs. Will come again.”

“Wir haben die zwei Wochen sehr genossen. Vor allem diese Ruhe - keine Touristen oder Verkehr. Sehr nette Vermieterin, die dieses alte urige Häuschen hergerichtet, aber den alten Charakter erhalten hat! Steinboden, krumme Balken, alte Möbel - für Liebhaber ein Kleinod. Das Dorf Trsek allerdings besteht leider aus vielen Ruinen und nur wenigen bewohnten Häusern, was dann ja wieder super ist, wegen der Ruhe! Mitten auf einem Hügel zwischen Weinbergen und Olivenhainen. Natur pur!”

Host was very responsive and readily answered any questions that we had! Conveniently located near restaurants and shops within walking distance.”

“Amazing stay. The suite was spacious, comfortable, and immaculate. The staff was friendly and helpful. The building was a gorgeous historical building with beautiful architecture. It was steps away from the bustling Grand Canal and a few minutes walk to the main square, but once you were inside it was very quiet. I would absolutely book again if I return to Trieste. ”

“Really nice place to stay. Our room was very small but we knew this in advance. We were there during a heatwave so the pool was amazing. The airconditioning is also great. Breakfast is good, really nice pistachio croissants. The restaurant next to the hotel is a nice place to eat. Only negatives thing would be that the hotel is a bit noisy, you can hear people in the hallway in the morning for example. ”

“Wir haben die Zeit in Podpec sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr alt und sehr speziell und eine Reise wert. Man kann von dort schöne Wanderungen beginnen, aber auch mit dem Auto schnell am Meer und in Triest sein. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. So etwas haben wir noch nicht erlebt!! wir sind als Fremde gekommen und als Freunde gegangen! Danke Neva und Alfio!”
