When I arrived the girl who checked us in was any bring but accommodating. Online it said the property would have somewhere to lock your belongings. Upon arrival there was a locker but no key. We asked the girl at the front desk and she said she had “no clue”. We walked out and decided we decided we would be staying elseware for the night.i went back in and told the girl that we would like to cancel unless we could find a key to lock our stuff up she finished making her noodles in the kitchen while I waited for for 5-10 minutes for her to cancel our 1 night stay. She said she canceled it but I have not yet received a refund. Was excited for a new United States hostel experience especially since it looked so cozy and in a great walking location on the website but in the end it put a damper on our night as we had to make other arrangements and spend extra money without even a partial refund. Will not be back and will not recommend.

First time in the Annex and I will never start there again. Building was VERY cold and it was even cold outside. a few of the stairs were loose and I stumbled on it the first time I ascended the stairs. Main floor bathroom was poorly done. Little privacy in the shower or first stall. Light was poor. No mirror over the outer sink. Lower bath fan was so loud you could not think. Mirror was off to the side and made it difficult to shave with. Sink would not drain, and was disgusting. I have stayed at this property before in the main building and it was excellent.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The lounge area was nice. There were lockers available for our luggage. The parking lot was a little dark behind the Hostel where we parked. Communal bathroom kept clean. Good price.

They massed up my check in date and give my room to others so really inconvenient at first night when I got there around midnight. And they should change or clean most of their furnitures and accessories
