“We had a wonderful extended stay at this property with our group. Fishing was fantastic, the level lot was great for going out on the ice. “Stayed at this property for a second time. Everything was in working order outside a few items Frank was made aware of and will be getting fixed for future guests. He was very fast at responding to questions and providing all info on cabin ahead of time. The whole house AC was actually a blessing in disguise as it was very warm and muggy to start the trip off. “Coming from the Twin Cities, this was a very pleasant four hour drive north into a wonderfully secluded lakeside cabin resort. While we didn't fish (it seems perfect for it), we did enjoy our time fixing a few slow meals in the cabin, getting out on the lake, watching the stars at night, and checking out a few nearby spots, like the county fair (that just happened to be perfectly timed with our trip) and bars/restaurants. Really beautiful land up by Northome, and recommend the stay for the area!”

“House is nicely appointed. Good views of lake particularly during the morning sunrise. Fairly steep walk down to lake. Can be slippery after rain. However, it’s beautiful. Be aware that the road into the property is fairly narrow and dirt and spots are muddy if wet, but not in any way impassable, just rustic. However, it would be difficult to bring a large boat onto the property and be able to turn around or maneuver it. You’d be better off launching from Pike Hole Resort or Cass Lake and……

“The lake is legit, the chonkiest walleyes! Something to note, which wasn’t on the listing: there is no garbage service provided at this cabin. we stayed for 2 weeks, and it was a real hassle, especially because there is a garbage company that services the area. there are no places in town to drop off a bag full of trash. the kitchen is well-appointed, and the toilet paper isn’t one-ply :)”

“Westwood was very comfortable for our family. 5 adults. The setting is completely perfect. Secluded and private in the woods. Ideal spot for a quiet vacation. “Our trip to Julian’s Cabin was amazing. We stayed on the Thieves’ Den. The beach was perfect for my kids with a very shallow entry. We took the canoes out for a bit as well. My children turned into fish during the week when we weren’t exploring the surrounding trails. Judy is an excellent host. The cabin is complete with everything you possibly could need and Judy is just one cabin over if you ever have a problem or question. While the cabin itself is small, there is plenty of outdoor space……
