“Hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. Cabin is perfectly cozy, with exactly enough to be comfortable. Phone reception was mildly decreased, which was perfect for not falling into the phone but still being somewhat connected. Nestled in the trees, just far enough from the neighboring houses. We felt safe, even when our only light came from the fire pit. We missed our birding field guide, but enjoyed the various winged visitors all the same. Before we headed home, we stopped at the shore - max……

“This cabin-like cottage is lovely. The cottage is steps away from the lake - the sounds of crashing waves is very soothing. There are train tracks near the neighborhood and the trains provide a nice soundtrack when you can hear them and were not disruptive (I think the grandkids would have loved to watch trains roll along the trestle actually). The cottage was clean. I was surprised at how spacious it was. Loads of room to crash about, for those that want/need privacy -there is space for……

“What a wonderful unique property! We were impressed from the minute we walked in. From the decor to the welcoming home away from home atmosphere it was perfect for our stay. The hot tub was warm and ready upon arrival the kitchen worked perfect for our meals we whipped up. I loved the set up and have already been telling friends and family about it! “This cabin with its amazing view was a wonderful place to relax after days of hiking and kayaking. We spent our morning sipping coffee on the front porch and also had our dinners at the little table there as well. The fire pit was a nice place to sit and look up at the stars- so many! It was so quiet. The cabin is super clean, comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen, very well taken care of and a close location to Alleghany State Park. Highly recommend staying here!”

“Fall stay”

“My friends and I stayed her for a golf outing of a golf course that was 5 miles away. We all had a wonderful time. The cabin is near by other cabins but tucked away for privacy. The property manager was prompt in answering all my questions and giving us the information we needed, no stress at all. The golf course was great too!”

“This was the most elegant, beautiful cabin I’ve ever had the privilege of visiting. The cabin and its surroundings are pristine, and beautifully and delicately decorated. Not a single detail was left out and there are so many personal touches that added to the whimsy and tranquility of this beautiful place. The view of the lush green rolling hills paired with the impeccable, warm hospitality from the hosts made our stay something to remember. My only regret is that we didn’t get to stay longer.……

“We had a great time staying here for my wife’s birthday. Tons of space: huge main room with 3 fold down futons, one bedroom with a bed and a second bedroom with an additional 2 beds. Wrap around porch with picnic table is nice. Really nice covered outdoor fire area with a grill and a ton of fire wood. Barn has tons of space. ”
