“Das Haus hat seinen ganz eigenen Charme und Historie.Die geografische Lage ist bekanntlich sehr ruhig, sonst würde man die Region nicht wählen und das Wetter in Schottland, gerade am Wasser, ist unberechenbar (September-Reise). “This is the worst place I have ever had the misfortune to stay. On arrival I could see that the building exterior was very tired. The decking was past its best and the key box was broken and the smell was dreadful as I opened the door. Tried to keep an open mind went to open windows but the bathroom and one bedroom didn’t open at all. It all needed a good clean so put the immerser on and waited, I am still waiting. “Our host Steven was very welcoming with early communications and in person. There is a nice view through the picture window of the loch just across the road. And just next door was a lovely gift shop and restaurant with wonderful scones. My only regret is that I didn't book a few more days.”

Cottage is semi detached so you have others directly through the fence if both in the garden (may be useful to know if you are taking dogs that would bark at this). Host very helpful.The only issue we had was with the decoration package purchased for 49. We received a reusable neon sign outdoor and a few blown up balloons and a banner in the living room which we did not find worth the money paid but a nice touch for our friend……
