“This is the perfect cottage to explore Skye. Ideal for a family of four. We slept well, the shower is good and every thought has gone into this self catering accommodation (not one but two hairdryers, sharp kitchen knives, dishwasher tablets, treats!). We arrived with everything we needed food and drink wise (I recommend you do as well as it's a drive to the shops) but also ate locally at the inn which was fine and lively. There's an excellent playpark across the road and a pottery. ”

“Accommodations were as represented in the listing. Plenty of hot water. Excellent location in town with great views out the windows of the second story master window. Washer was convenient as you could do an extra spin and drain and then air dry thinner clothing. There were some limited spices for cooking. Parking was available every time although late at night probably would have had difficulty getting parking across the street.I would stay here again with a family and looking at the hotels in……

“Our stay was wonderful overall. Loved the remote location. All we saw or heard were the sheep and cows. The walk to Rubha Hunish was great. Another review mentioned that it feels like the end of the world, and it really does. It was nice to talk to Alan the Crofter and pet his family of collies as well. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at Tides Uig. The pictures do not capture how beautiful the view is from the home. We also loved the daily visits from the local sheep. The space was perfect for multigenerational group. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. We also appreciated that basic supplies that were provided. The location was perfect with just a short drive to many locations on Skye, but away from the business of Portree. We had a wonderful dinner at the Uig Inn and two locations within……
