“We spent a week on Cape Breton in this beautiful property for our first stay in Nova Scotia. The house is well equipped and has a high standard. It had everything we needed and the kitchen with the view was gorgeous. Michael was a very helpful and responsive host and we appreciated all the help. “The house was quite nice overall. A little disappointing that the woodstove didn't work, especially as the weather was cool and wet. The water is quite soft, but tastes good; and the water heater works fine. We spent a chilly first night as the baseboard heaters were set to 10C (50F), and the control buttons are really tiny and hard to notice. A heads up from the owner would have been helpful. It was plenty warm once I found the controls. The setting is beautiful, and the stairs down to the lake……
