The Durango Lodge is a great location, but there is construction going on next door that started around 6:30am and prevented us from sleeping. Additionally, our room was 80° when we arrived despite it being 52° outside. When we turned on the a/c, the room got up to 82°. A/C only blew warm air, and A/C fan as well. Eventually we turned everything off and left the windows and door open and the room finally cooled to 73° an hour later.
I had food from our road trip to put in the fridge, but the fridge was completely off and I didn't realize, so my food was unsafe to eat by morning, especially considering the 80° room.
Bathroom was clean. Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable although the pillows were too tall. They say breakfast included....It's pretty much bad frozen Jimmie Dean sausage & pancakes.
