New Pet Friendly Award Winning Condo - 10 Minute walk to downtown Durango

City of Durango Permit Number 2016-210

Our single level 1,500 square foot residence was built in 2016 and won the People's Choice category in the Durango Parade of Homes. The modern and exceptionally appointed residence features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is located 7 blocks (15 minute walk along the Animas River Trail) from the heart of historic downtown Durango and 24 miles (25 minutes) from Purgatory ski area.
This residence has been finished with furnishings, electronics and decor at the forefront modern decor and technology. It’s a true showplace and an exceptional vision of an urban lifestyle that is commensurate with a small-town mountain setting.
This condo is also just a few minutes walk from the Durango Recreation Center, County Fairgrounds and numerous restaurants and bars. If you do not want to walk to downtown, then simply take the Trolley that runs every 20 minutes and stops right in front of the condo.

Bed Configuration (Please note the condo is upstairs one flight of stairs but is a single level condo):

This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay).

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Inaccurate listing.

The place was really nice but the listing stated it was a 10 minute walk to downtown but it is at least a 20 minute walk. The light switches and blind system were designed very poorly.

All of my group commented on what a lovely property I picked! Great location — not far from downtown. Convenient to the bike trail. Well-stocked kitchen. Immaculate property. Only negative was the washer was not working. Everything else was perfect.

Annual family outing

The property was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Located close to downtown and just a stones throw from the bike routes along the Animas. We truly loved staying at this property and will hopefully be able to return next year. One of the best stays we’ve had over the years in Durango. The property made the entire process easy and lived the welcome packs.

An Oasis

We loved the townhome and the location. Plenty of space, great kitchen; parking and places to walk the dogs. Great coffee and deli all within walking distance. You can cross Main Street and head straight to the river trail to head downtown. We enjoyed our stay and the owner was a huge help so that we might watch Peacock and the Olympics.

Great place!

The condo was clean, in a good area of town. The only negative was the windows did not seal well, allowing lots of road noise in from Main Street. The owners have placed white noise machines in the bedrooms which is nice, but I would recommend bringing earplugs unless you are not bothered by passing cars. Other than the road noise, I highly recommend this condo!

Family 4th of July Reunion

We had such an enjoyable visit to Durango, and the condo was perfect for our group of 6 family members. The interior was updated with modern amenities yet comfortable and was well stocked with basic household and kitchen essentials. The only negative I would be the road noise from the street outside the unit, however we were here over a holiday weekend when tourism was at a peak, and you honestly get used to it after the first night. Also, parking was so convenient and offered enough spaces for two vehicles, which is rare in Durango. Loved it and will absolutely stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay!

We had five adults in our group and our condo was the perfect place! The layout was great and we felt that we had plenty of room. The street noise was a bit loud in the evenings but we brought fans for sleeping so it was a non-issue for us (they do provide sound machines in all bedrooms). The property manager/owners were very responsive and helpful! The bath towels and bed pillows could be improved upon, but other than that things were great! We would absolutely stay here again!

Family Vacation

Beautiful property. Communication with owner for access was top notch. The interior was clean and REALLY nice. The only drawback is location on the Main Street and some traffic noise. The sound machines were a nice addition to have and definitely helped, but if you can’t sleep with white noise or water etc. you might struggle in two of the bedrooms.

Long Weekend with Friends

We came to Durango with our little ones for the Polar Express Train experience. We were really pleased with the convenience of this property to town (less than ten minutes to the station parking) and the helpful layout for two couples with infants on different schedules. We felt the apartment had high end finishes with the added bonus of little amenity packages. It is located on a busy road, but we weren’t bothered by this with the noise machines provided. We recommend checking the thermostat settings so that you don’t wake up freezing because the default night setting is 60 degrees! Our only complaint was that the master bedrooms sheets didn’t seem as clean as they could be with old dirt stains on the comforter and a few rogue hairs. We addressed this with the property manager who responded quickly and luckily there were spare sheet sets available. We also didn’t feel that the coffee pot had been cleaned so further attention to detail in this area would be appreciated. However, we would definitely choose to stay again on future visits. The property felt safe and easy to access with keypads on both doors.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & appreciated the proximity to hiking trails and restaurants. Beautiful kitchen & bathrooms, that were well stocked. Plenty of towels and bedding. Plenty of smart, home features, including lighting, air conditioning and automatic blinds Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, Kleenex & soaps. dishwasher pods. Had no problem with parking. Owner is very friendly. Please make a note that the unit is situated directly on Main Avenue so you will have to anticipate traffic noise. They do have white noise machines which is helpful, but trucks, motorcycles, ambulances, etc. can definitely be disruptive to sleep.

The rental was very spacious. Plenty of room for 8 of us. Well stocked with dishes, bathroom towels, etc. Great location with the biking path along the river just across the street. It is on the main road so there was traffic noise but the host provided sound machines in bedrooms. Reserved parking spots were nice to have too.

Good location

Loved the keyless entry and location, however; with the location there was street noise. Access to walking/biking paths was great and you're close enough to downtown to walk. Be warned they only supply you with 2 each of: laundry & dishwasher tablets, mini bars of soap and toiletries including tp regardless of number of people or length of stay! And the third bedroom with 2 beds is actually bunk beds, something to keep in mind depending on your group.

Wonderful And Modern

Great home, with a perfect location that is close to everything. The layout of the unit makes it an excellent choice for multiple families., couples or groups of friends. Plenty of space to hang out and have fun. I would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect place for a ski and ‘city’ experience

We loved the location of this property! 30 min from Purgatory and a 5 min drive to Main Street made our daily commute to the slopes and to dinner super easy. Beds were super comfortable (you do need to use white noise machines) and open living room/kitchen/dining area was perfect for family game nights. Lots of closet space and nice, modern bathrooms. Definitely would recommend and we hope to stay again!
