“The hotel was fine and well equipped but cold. The restaurant was cold too so we only ate there once. Once we asked we were given a fan heater and the staff were helpful and friendly.Overall the location of the hotel isn’t great, it’s between a very busy main road and the railway sidings so there was a constant noise of trains moving and hooting all night. The room and bed were very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Nothing really wrong except the location ”

“Not in a great neighborhood. No good dinner nearby. My room had no hot water in bathroom. Room was very cold so they brought me a space heater.”

“Comfortable air conditioned clean. Very courteous and helpful staff. Standard western amenities. Highly recommend it. The only caveat is location. While it is only 3 minutes away from Darbar Sahib (with entry right next to Akal Takht Sahib!), it is very difficult to get your car there, because the streets are too congested. They do have parking but it took extra long to get in and out. So park outside and take an auto to the place. ”

“Great place to stay to visit Harmandir Sahib Golden Temple. It's right in the center of the action of Heritage Street right near the Maharaja Ranjit Singh statue and Jallianwalla Bagh Park. The soundproofing is excellent to get a good night's sleep, because Heritage St is extremely busy all day and almost all night. The room wasn't super clean and had exposed wiring in the bathroom, but for the price, it was fine. We had great hot water. The staff is excellent and listened to our requests and……

Tipping culture is aggressive, as a visitor we should not feel obligated to tip, nor should we be asked to tip more. ”
