“From the moment we entered the property the relaxation began!! The location and history of the area was interesting. The rooms were comfortable and homey. The screened porch was the central space and the reading knook was never empty. All enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding in the calm river water. All agreed we would like to revisit the property again. Communication with the owners was prompt and courteous. Thank you”

“We had a wonderful stay at Ted’s property. The basement was cold as they hadn’t figured out to adjust the thermostat yet, so we didn’t spend any time down there. We also encountered challenges with the hot water heater, but overall it was a lovely stay. ”

“House was beautiful location was great but overall dirty and not well stocked. No hand soap in any bathrooms, only 4 bath towels when there were 8 of us sleeping there. One bedroom didn't have a smoke detector. One bathroom toilet was completely clogged and broken upon arrival and we couldn't use the entire stay. Mouse poop was found through out the kitchen. ”

“The water views, sunrises, and many local birds, including a nearby osprey nest, were all spectacular. The whole back of the house is a bank of windows (living room and master bedroom). It feels private as your view is just your outdoor lounge area, dock, and the water. No big downsides (minorly need space for tooth brushes as the sinks are mostly the sink bowls). Everything was clean,and comfortable. In similar off the beaten path vrbo's we've had lower cleanliness or ants, but not here! ……
