“It was even better than on the pictures. The view is so amazing. You can see the bay from about any room in the cottage. Easy access to the beach and more than plenty outdoor chairs. “The home is older but very well looked after. It was very clean with all the supplies we needed. We were hoping to ride our bikes to the beach but the roads were too busy so we had to drive to the beach but it is very close. A little welcome booklet with tips about the property and information about the area would have been helpful. Our kids really enjoyed the hot tub and we were happy to use the exercise bike and free weights.”

“We stayed for 7 days at Humble Pie Cottage and found it comfortable and quiet. Highlights included morning coffee on the deck listening to the neighbour’s rooster off in the distance ( not loud, as houses are a distance apart), and watching sunsets from the living room windows. The cottage was well equipped in the kitchen, and there was also a washer and dryer. There is a winery just up the road, and groceries are available nearby. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing vacation.”

“Very nice clean cottage. Well stocked kitchen. Nice location - was great being close to big grocery stores so that I didn’t have to bring all the food with me. The heat pump kept us nice and cool and the beds were very comfy. Was great having two bathrooms each with showers. The only down side was that there wasn’t much in the way of comfortable seating - one small couch and a rocking chair (and 4 wooden dining chairs) for 6 of us. All in all we had a lovely stay and didn’t want to leave!”
