“This house is in perfect spot in Boothbay Harbor. Easy walk to town, right on the water. Everything about the house was perfect and exactly what we needed. ”

The "great room" has a wonderful fireplace, high ceilings, and comfortable couches and chairs. The large deck facing the water is beautiful, offering a spectacular view of Lewes Cove in Linekin Bay. You can hear loons, watch cormorants fishing and drying their wings on lobster trap platforms, and see bald eagles fly by and roost in nearby……

“This cabin is something incredibly singular and special. It is imbued with the legacy of the Hall family, and you can read their history as you explore the house. The view is unbelievable - waking up, going downstairs, and being that close to the ocean is so peaceful. We could have spent a month reading as nearly every room is a library. The kitchen is stocked with some great old cast irons and lobster pots for whatever one would need. The China and dining wear even had character and……

“Clean, neat, short hop to Boothbay. Perfect for couple. Very safe as well. Neighborhood is not picturesque… not important to us. Only small, small picky note: heat was too high for us at night without ability to regulate. Highly recommend!”

“Gray woods is a remarkable treasure. You walk in the door and feel instantly comfortable and at home. The views are stunning, the kitchen is better equipped than my own and I'm a great cook. The bedrooms are cozy and comfortable. Sunsets and sunrises are stunning, the stars are bright. We had sunshine, torrential rain, thick fog, and it was all exactly right. When sunny, we went to Popham Beach, when foggy, we snuggled in by the fire and read, and the pouring rain lulled us to sleep. It is Maine……

We were 10 and it was perfect. There are a few things that need some work… Only one bathroom had a bathmat and the 2nd floor shower in the main house is difficult to navigate without drenching the floor with its multitude of curtains and no shelf or hanging caddy to put soap and shampoo. “They thought of everything, including binoculars. We watched seabirds and lobstermen working and didn't leave the house until late in the day for the Botanical Gardens. They only communicate through Vacasa,email, and text. Good communication, though. Final payment is through Vacasa. ”
