Come and enjoy the comforts of Vermont in this nice 2- bedroom in-law apartment which sleeps 4 guests with 1 bath. There is a separate entrance and plenty of parking.
Located 8 miles from Lyndonville, the property is 3.8 miles from Burke Mountain Ski Resort, a short drive to Lake Willoughby and a stones throw away from Kingdom Trails and much more.
This apartment has any and all things you may need for a stay in northern Vermont. This apartment is a perfect stay while exploring the fall foliage, biking, skiing, or snowmobiling. It’s closer than local hotels and offers more private amenities. You can cook your own meals with the eat in kitchen, relax in the evening in the living room and kick back with some television.

This is a great little place! It has 2 bedrooms, one with a firm bed and one with a soft bed. The TV is small, and I would recommend that the hosts get a bigger one, but it comes with Netflix, which is a great feature. This is the perfect location for folks who want to ride the Kingdom Trails in what I would say is the northeast section of the East Burke trails (White School, Petes Pond, Upper and Lower Pond Loops, etc). You can get to those trails from the main part of town by riding your bike there, but if I had to do it, I'd use up all my energy just biking to those trails and not be able to ride them. There is no parking for those trails nearby, but this rental is less than a mile ride to get to those beautiful, scenic trails. So for me, it's the perfect location! There is a shed where you can lock your bikes in on the property, which is great too. I highly recommend this location.

Not the right fit for us. This apartment is in a basement with no windows, and the constant use of a noisy dehumidifier made it hard to relax. The owners live upstairs, some areas are off-limits, and you need permission to use the outdoor fire pit — which added to the feeling of restricted space. We ended up leaving earlier than planned. I do wish the listing had been more transparent. Referring to it as an "in-law apartment" at the very end of the description may give the impression that it’s a fully separate unit. That said, Amy was incredibly responsive and helpful, and the apartment is well-equipped, super clean and in a great location for mountain biking. Just not what we expected.

Perfect Place to Stay when Riding Kingdom Trails

A buddy and I needed a place to stay for a weekend of mountain biking with a big group of friends. The location is perfect. Maybe ten minutes from Darling Hill where everyone meets to ride and less than ten minutes from town. There is a trail head on the same dirt road that the property is on, but we didn’t have the opportunity to check that trail out. The house is perfectly set up for a couple of mountain bikers. There’s a shed with a padlock to store the bikes, a full size refrigerator in the entryway plus a smaller fridge in the common area. There’s a washer and dryer which came in handy after getting caught in a rainstorm on the trail. Each bedroom had plenty of space with a comfortable bed, and the bathroom was really spacious with a modern shower. Definitely will try to stay here again!

Fall Foliage Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this comfortable rental, nicely located in the Northeast Kingdom. The two bedrooms were comfortable and there was nothing we needed that was not available. The host responded promptly to any questions and check in/out was easy.

Weekend getaway

Very cozy 2 bedroom basement apartment, easy to find. Loved the decor, beds were comfortable and a great size bathroom. Smaller refrigerator in the apartment with full size in the hallway that you can us ascwell. Didn't have a chance to enjoy the outdoor fire pit or grill but looked nice. We were in town for a wedding,wish we could have spent more time in the area.

Comfy and convenient for NEK hiking

Amy was kind enough to allow luggage stored in shed before check in and after checkout for a few hours away to hike, no need to leave belongings in vehicle at trailheads. Unit was very clean and cozy. Beds a bit on the soft side for us, but still comfortable. The only thing that would need for 5 stars is some new stainless steel pots and pans. Older scratched nonstick not up to par. We enjoyed our stay

Perfect little apartment for sleeping at while doing recreational fun things during the day.

I was in town for a wedding and stretched out my stay for 4 days. Amy's apartment is clean and well-kept. It is a basement apartment and she works very hard to keep the humidity out. She has a couple of really cute dogs but you don't interact with them at all. They bark once in awhile but they were not a problem. I would stay here again. d she works very hard to keep the humidity out

A great spot for awesome riding

This rental was extremely clean and the perfect size for my husband and our 11 year old daughter who came once again to enjoy Kingdom Trails and East Burke. The secure shed for all of our bikes was truly appreciated. Check in and out was super easy and Amy was such a gracious host who was enjoyable to chat with. With the weather we were inside most of the time so a little difficult with no windows. It would have been nice to at least have cable tv. Could not even get local news. The black couch very uncomfortable. The beds were comfortable and slept very well. A larger coffeemaker would have been nice.
