“Rooms were adequate for my requirements. Only 1 night stay. Had all that I needed. Meals were excellent.”

“Enjoyed our stay”

“Arrived late after noon. The owner was most helpful as we needed directions. Room was good with a brilliant view of Burnie Harbour. Breakfast we sat with the owners. We talked and talked until we realised we needed to move on to our next destination.”

“Have stayed here 3 or 4 times and find it very pleasant, comfortable, convenient and affordable. Some noise on the port-facing side from trucks and machines working through the night on the dock. Better to stay on the town facing side.”

“We stayed at "Philpotts" for 2 nights and the houses were beautifully furnished and had a garden full of different plants. The landlord was very attentive and provided a rich breakfast to us. Look forward to staying again in the near future.”

“Our stay was everything we could have wished for, Cindi at reception was friendly and informative; the room was clean, comfortable and the outlook over the dock and ocean was great. The bed was super comfortable, and amenities provided were very much appreciated. The only disappointment was that there was no available parking after returning late in the evening.”
