“This was our second stay in this amazing house overlooking a picturesque setting of the Berkshire mountains and meadow filled with birdsong and deer grazing there We would wake up every morning to a mist layering the mountain range and warming sunlight and at night we could watch the sunset coloring the horizon. “We wanted a three day getaway where we could make our own breakfasts, walk to a great restaurant for dinner, spend time hiking/walking in nature. We got all that (recommend dinner at The Station, a leisurely 5 minute walk from the townhouse), and much more! There’s a great bakery down the street - be sure to get a monkey bread muffin - decadent and delicious! Jeff and Melanie were terrific hosts, warm and welcoming, made sure we got good tips about local hiking. The town house was as advertised……

“First trip to the Berkshires and we wanted a spot with easy lake access as well as good access to many towns. This house had that, you just can’t walk anywhere from the house, or take a walk bc of the road it is on. It is clean and well-appointed. Mattress in one bedroom is a bit wobbly, but other beds comfortable. So great to be able to bring dogs. It is not directly on a lake(have to cross the road), but does have easy access that is a 5 minute walk to a sweet little private beach with nice……

“This house is a lovely space for friends to gather. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining tables both indoors and outside were large. The living room has a large sectional couch that fit us all comfortably. The place was very clean , with nice linens and excellent beds and pillows! There were a few problems. Some lights had no bulbs and/ or simply didn’t work. Half the lights over the dining room table didn’t work, and that was true in most of the bedrooms. We called Roberto who did……

“We stayed at this wonderful house for family weekend at Berkshire School. The house sits on a pond in a beautiful location with large windows and patio doors so you can enjoy the view from many of the rooms. There is a large screened in porch with various seating options. The pond offers endless entertainment from geese, ducks, bald eagles and more! We enjoyed sitting out by the fire and listening to nature. It is a wonderful house and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful……

“The house was even more beautiful than the photos. Best hot tub ever, well-equipped kitchen (everything we needed and more), comfortable beds, quality linens and towels. I appreciated the labeling of light switches, as well. The owner responded to my questions quickly and graciously accommodated a few requests. I would rebook this house in a heartbeat the next time in the area. ”

“Loved the location, yard, outside areas and the charm of the old home. The property was clean but appeared that no one had been there is a long time so did not have that pristine "just cleaned" feel. Some pests (bugs) and the dishwasher was not emptied (still full from previous tenants). The most concerning issue was the unlevel flooring, the steepest, narrowest stairs I have ever seen and is a property that could be very dangerous for young and old. “Our family had a wonderful stay at the beautiful, clean, peaceful Hoyt House. There was plenty of space to gather together as well as spread out. The daffodils were beginning to bloom and there is the sight and sound of a running stream behind the home. We were close to fun things to explore like the Audubon, covered bridge, and Kent waterfalls. Great bakery, restaurants, grocery a short drive away. The heated indoor swimming pool was the biggest hit. We hope to have the opportunity to……
