“I loved staying on the East side of the island. If you want peace and quiet look no further. This casita is away from droves of people and lots of activity. The coral reef is amazing to snorkel. You can bird watch, see beautiful sunsets and firefly’s light up the night sky. So thankful for Misty and Matt’s hospitality.”

“Beautiful home!! Roatán never disappoints and this home was perfect for our group! The rain got us a couple of days but the home layout and the palapa outside allowed for us to stay comfortable even when having to stay home. They made the recommendation to use Chef Robby for a birthday celebration and that was a great experience and a highlight of the trip. Desiree was always very responsive and helpful. Thanks for letting us use your home!”

“Nightmare! The property manager wanted to change check in to 3:00pm. The a/c was not working, property manager could not send an a/c repair man or offered another room.Ceiling fan not working. Bathroom door does not lock. A/C leaking, shower water leaks into the bedroom. ”

She met us at the airport, drove us to the home, answered all questions quickly (including general island questions during out stay), and made checking out a breeze. The location is beautiful and is accurately represented in the advertisement. The groundskeeper (Jerry) kept the place in good condition and also will deliver fresh lobster (if requested) at a very reasonable rate. The place also comes……

“Although a little rough to get to, it's more than well worth the effort. The space is beautifully appointed, comfortable, and has a staff that are attentive and ready to help worth anything. The private beach means that you have plenty of seating options to choose from. Sit back and watch the egrets fishing or take the kayaks or paddleboards out. Make sure to go snorkeling if you get the chance. There are tons of fish, anemones, crabs, jellies and tons more to see, especially near the rocky……

“This property was exactly as the pictures showed on the listing! The view from the pool deck overlooked the golf course and the ocean beyond- absolutely beautiful! The layout was great- plenty of room and generous bedroom/bath combos. This was the perfect layout for a family with almost adult children. We rented a golf car(plus had a car) to get to the beach club. The pool was expansive and the beach lovely. Our property manager, Robert, was exceptional. He attended to the few things we needed……

“We chose to stay mid island for the past few nights of our trip so we could experience more local culture in the middle and East End. We had no problem locating the house. We asked for directions a few times and everyone was very helpful. We chose this accommodation due to its views and proximity to a swimming beach. Upon arriving we noticed the construction of new homes is blocking the views to the sea from the main floor. You can still see the ocean from the upstairs bedroom decks, however.……

“The house was good/ok for our group of 12 people. Great views, beach, and good quiet location. They provided us with a great contact for transportation. The experience could have been much better - the house does have a few problems. The water pressure in a couple of the bathrooms was nothing more than a drip and toilets had hard time flushing. With a group of 12 - there were only 4 bath towels provided. When we requested more along with wash clothes - we were told “no”. I had also Called about……
