“Three generations of our extended family spent a wonderful Thanksgiving at this superlative property. Children loved the downstairs playroom and bunk rooms. Adults enjoyed luxurious en suite bedrooms. The cooks were pleased with the well-stocked kitchen. Thanksgiving Day featured a beautiful snowfall. “The house was perfect for our holiday — comfortable and roomy with a gorgeous, peaceful view of the Green Mountains. Great deck with a BBQ and an outdoor eating setup. The kitchen was well-stocked and the bedrooms were very nice. We appreciated the guidance in the visitor notebook about places to hike and god local restaurants. Attentive property owners checked in with us to make sure everything was okay, which was kind and made us feel at home. “Enjoyed a long weekend in Vermont celebrating a birthday and Mother's Day. The home was very spacious , comfortable, warm, and welcoming. Plenty of room to relax and spend time with family. We especially loved the mountain views and enjoyed the fire pit . Looking forward to coming back !!!”

“We enjoyed our stay but the home is isolated for shopping or activities that are not ski-related. We had to drive 45 min for grocery store, and had to supply our own laundry and dishwasher supplies ( other VBROs have always supplied these basic necessities for the home) Superficially seems clean but we had to move the couch and there was trash, dirt, game pieces and food under it.. UGH! Trash can was overflowing with stinky garbage from previous guests. ”

“Friendly host, ans check in process was very simple. House was big enough for 8 adults and 6 children. Location is 30-40 mins away from stratton, which we decided to go fo skiing. It felt a little further away due to traffic and busy long weekend.”

“The place was as advertised and adequate for our large group of about 18-19 people. Check in process was easy and our group enjoyed our stay. The place had a large open kitchen and a large dining area. The backyard was large for kids to play badminton and soccer. If you are looking for a quiet place for a large group in Southern Vermont, give this place a consideration.”

“Inside property was great - house was very fun and spacious and clean . HOWEVER..the driveway clearly hadn’t been plowed for a long time when we got there and so once we pulled in our cars were stuck. We were trapped at the house for 3 days. The plow driver came to plow the neighbor and told us he hadn’t been paid by the owners so hadn’t been plowing for some time The owners finally arranged for a different plow to come but not being able to leave for 3 days really affected our ability to……

“We were pleasantly surprised to get the notice we could check-in early so off we set to Vermont! We arrived to a beautiful, peaceful and serene house! Great large home with lots of room to sleep, hang as a family, cook in a very well stocked kitchen, etc. it had anything we could have needed to cook with, play with, etc. the icing on the cake was the really cool pond that the kids loved exploring, catching and releasing frogs, newts etc. would love to visit again next year when we’re in town for……
