“If you are planning a trip to the Barre or Montpelier area of Vermont, stay at Maplecroft Bed & Breakfast. Wonderful breakfasts, thoughtful amenities, comfortable bed (the pillows) all in a Victorian home complete with a Tower Room. ”

“We stayed for 1 night as part of a New England road trip. We were met by the owner on arrival who could not have been more helpful. He suggested a number of places to eat. The room was clean and tidy and included bottles of water, soap etc. The breakfast had many choices and all were fresh. Would stay again”

“The creek out back was amazing. The state had a burn ban in affect due to SEVERE drought so we couldn't utilize the fire pit areas. For being late in season there were not many options for dining. I just wish we could have spent more time at the lodge chillin outside, the running water from the creek and river were amazing. The new owners seem to be making upgrades, very friendly people. ”

“Very beautiful property right on a creek and covered bridge. We prefer these smaller, family owned properties when possible. Breakfast was very good. Website referenced restaurants, but there are none onsite, but plenty close by. ”

“Beautiful secluded stay in Roxbury that was perfect for our needs during our friends’ wedding weekend. House was well stocked with everything one would need in the kitchen, linens, blankets, etc. Wish there was a hair dryer though since we were in town for a wedding and the temps were lower in the mornings. ”
