“A lovely spot by Colgate and next to a reservoir! Saw loons and other wildlife. Had some issues with the cleanliness of the place upon arrival and had to go get some supplies that were not available. With some care and attention, this will be a lovely weekend getaway.”

“This is our 2nd time visiting this home. We come to visit our son, who is a student at Colgate and in the Colgate orchestra. The hosts are so accommodating and wonderful! The house is squeaky clean and so comfortable. We have already booked it for our next visit in April. ”

“We have been visiting the area for the last 3 years as our son is at nearby Colgate. We have rented many homes for weekend visits. This was by far the nicest experience we have had,Just a beautiful large comfy home. Immaculately clean and well stocked. Ping pong in the basement kept the kids occupied during a rainy weekend. The large streaming TV was great for Netflix movies.Comfortable beds and large dining area. Oven was great for chocolate chip cookies.Oh, and the view of the lake is……

“I lived on the west shore for 15 years before 2000. I knew the magic of the lake in Spring, before the schools were out and the motorboats roared past. The road was narrow and crowded, and summer folk found their camps again. Friends found peace and quiet away from the city of Syracuse. Quilting was done, and meals could have been obtained in the town.”

“The host, Ariana was very responsive. 4 generations of my family stayed at this property which allowed us to be within local distance of other relatives. The home was very spacious. We enjoyed everything from from the huge living room to large yard with the fire pit. We can't wait to come back during warmer weather to enjoy the lake! ”

“We encountered some issues as a result of a fluke storm that was not foreseeable- Mikey was super helpful, responsive, and easily contacted. The house is beautiful and the dogs loved the fenced in yard area to stretch their legs. we will rent from Mikey on our next trip to Norwich :). ”

“Pulled in a 1am, slept and out again by 9am. Beds comfy, everyone had fresh linens, very clean. Only little worry was getting out of the parking area with trucks and trailers. The road isn’t busy, but people fly. ”

“My frail, elderly aunt and I very much enjoy our stay at this lovely house. It is very comfortable, super clean, and the land is full of many species of birds, butterflies, and insects. We very much enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching bald eagles, turkeys, blue headed vireos, dragonflies, woodpeckers, catbirds and many more species using the fields, forest, and pond. The house is well and generously filled with everything needed to have a wonderful stay. The first floor bedroom, full first……
