“If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, tidy cottage on a perfect lake, this spot checks all of the boxes. This place has all the basics you need for making great food, playing table games, reading and relaxing outside, and talking by a campfire. An incredible home base for any exploration of the White Mountains. Next time, I would rent a kayak or two just to enjoy more of Lake Ossippe's splendor. This is the place for making memories. ”

“Very clean cabin! Loved having a little screened in porch! The chairs and fire pit right out front of our spot was an added bonus. The showers had great water pressure and were very clean! Would visit again.”

“The cabin we stayed in was great. Small refrigerator and everything we needed was inside. It was clean and check in was easy. The amenities around the cabins were great. Showers, a cute little arcade and outdoor seating and games. There was a vending machine and ice, along with a washer and dryer. Great location and beautiful scenery. ”

“Beautiful place right on the lake. Very basic accommodations, we really only slept there. Perfect for what we needed. I had trouble with the television, couldn’t figure it out. We were trying to watch the Celtics playoff game. Emailed the host I didn’t get a response Until the next day. Ironically, in her email, she said “ Don’t hesitate to reach out “ and she was “available 24/7”. We ended up listening to the game. Other than that, we had a great stay.”

“The house was comfortable, clean and a good size for a family of 5. We loved the location, waking up everyday to have tea by the lake, we roasted marshmellows in the fire pit and we saw 2 loons and heard them calling, it was a peaceful experience! We are hoping to stay there again in the future!”

“Well sorted house 3 minutes from gunstock. 3 bedrooms make it easy to vacation with 3 generations. The driveway is certainly steep and eager to form ice. I put down about 3 bags of salt to solve the issue. I recommend you do the same. AWD and winter tires highly recommended.”

“The Cozy Cottage nestled in the heart of Alton Bay, NH was just what my family of four needed for an extended holiday weekend getaway. My favorite keepsake from staying at Rich’s Cozy Cottage was most definitely the spectacular view and the live music heard from across the Bay while I relaxed on the comfy blue chairs in the large breezeway! We even brought our pugs and our 22 ft boat. Next time I hope to be able to reserve a dock, but the ramp is literally a five minute walk away.”
