Summary:
Enjoy the best the Green Mountains has to offer from this private estate located on 145 rolling acres. The property is the site of a former dairy farm, with quintessential 1840s post-and-beam barn still on-site. The property features 5 well-appointed bedrooms, with 4 bathrooms, and 5 fireplaces throughout. Large kitchen and dining room, living room, sun room with ping pong, and panoramic terrace offers ample living spaces to relax and spend time with friends and family. The positioning of the home atop a hill surrounded by pastures and meadows offers picture-frame views of the Green Mountains in all seasons.

The Space:
Entire 5,400 SF home on 145 private acres.

Accessible with smart lock.

Located in Wallingford, VT. 10-min to Downtown Wallingford, 15-min to Okemo Mountain.

Getting Around:
Vehicle required; in the winter, 4WD or AWD necessary given the weather.

Wildlife: This is a home in a rural part of the country. You may see wildlife including deer, coyotes, foxes, and bears. Please be mindful of your surroundings and leaving out food and trash.

Weather: In the winter, there will be snow, ice, and occasional snowstorms. We recommend driving a vehicle with AWD or 4WD. Please drive with caution and be prepared with regards to the ability of your vehicle to drive in the snow.

Power & Internet: This is a rural part of the country. You may lose power or internet during inclement weather. We do not issue refunds for loss of power or internet out of our control.

AC availability is seasonal and depending on weather (late spring and summer). Heating is also seasonal, and depending on weather, available during the cold seasons (autumn-winter).

Pets: Cats are not allowed on the property. Dogs are allowed on the property. The following charges will apply: $150 plus tax for the first pet and $50 plus tax for each additional pet.

Cancellation Policy: We cannot make any exceptions to our cancellation policy. Please consider traveler’s insurance.

We truly enjoyed our stay. There were glitches. Maintenance staff worked hard to remedy the issues. Most were resolved. The house needs some attention. For the price, I expected more attention to details. Collectively, we all made it work.

Stayed for a long ski weekend (just a few minutes from Okemo!) with our extended family (ages ranging from 2 to 60), and it was just perfect! The property was beautiful, and home was well kept-with plenty of space for both privacy (spacious bedrooms/bathrooms) and to spend time together as a group (large kitchen, dining room and living room- plus a ping pong table in the basement!). Would certainly recommend!

Amazing house on a remarkable property with 360 views of the green mountains. Spacious home with great beds and baths. Spotless, well equipt with cableand great WiFi. Checkin was a breeze and checkout was easy too. All close to okemo.

House is beautiful. Rolling hills beautiful views from every angle. Very good communication. Just needed to be dusted and vacuumed a little better otherwise it was a perfect stay. We do this every year and have stayed in many places this tops all and we will be back if available.
