“Beautiful cottage, very charming. Nice big kitchen, old stove. Beds were comfy. Jouni (host) was very reponsive and helpful. 10 min to Joensuu. We liked it!”

“A lovely lake house a short drive from Juva, on the road to Savonlinna. The house was well-equipped, efficient and very comfortable on a large lot separated from other houses. The dock and rowboat were a real plus for swimming and fishing. We enjoyed our stay.”

“Very friendly landlord. Nice house with all amenities. Larger Mosquitowindows would be helpful, however. Beautiful location but you should be aware of three minor issues: - Good supermarkets and restaurants are 35km away - Many trees and northerly location limit sunny spots to morning and early afternoon - next holidayhouses are close (ca. 200m), neighbours can be heard”

“La casa era tal cual la describían. La construcción es moderna, todo en madera. Muy cuidada y limpia. Tiene calefacción, chimenea, sauna, barbacoa e incluso lavavajillas...que más se puede pedir. El propietario muy amable a pesar de no hablar inglés, su mujer si hablaba. En el jardín hay un lago que probamos bañándonos después de la sauna. Tiene todas las comodidades, solo le falta el wifi. Muy adecuada para visitar Savolinna, Kholi, Heinavesi, Joensuu y en general Carelia del Norte con sus……

“Wir haben 15 Nächte in diesem toll ausgestatteten Mökki gebracht und die Zeit sehr genossen. Der Kontakt mit der Eigentümerin verlief reibungslos, alles war so wie angegeben. Besonders gefallen hat uns der eigene kleine See-Abschnitt mit Steg, Ruderboot, Sand ”
