“We stayed for four nights while we accessed Eastern Oregon recreation and found this home base to be very comfy and homey. Our kids enjoyed the yard swing and friendly neighbor dog while also appreciating the architecture and old farmhouse details. The gas fireplace attracted us every evening and we appreciated all of the updated modern amenities in an old Victorian home. The downstairs main bed was extremely comfortable. Looking forwarded to coming back with additional family to share this fun……

“Had a great time enjoying cozy gorgeous house and excellent view of the river, birds and deers. Plenty of room for a big family and the playroom can be fun for people of any age: pool, bar table and huge TV. We brought our own Nintendo switch so kids had a blast”

“The Lake House is a perfect vacation home. Everything you could possibly need is provided - a fully stocked kitchen, a big front porch where you'll want to spend all your time on a sunny day, really comfy beds, plenty of bedding, beautiful views, peaceful and quiet. We stayed 4 nights. The location was great for exploring the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument, and surrounding areas. You will love this house!”

“Even though it was rainy our first day, once it cleared up, the hosts built us a beautiful fire in the fire pit where we were able to enjoy the sunset. The views are amazing in every direction and the various bird songs were enchanting. ”
