Inside this light-filled vacation rental, you'll find a nicely-equipped, full kitchen, tables and chairs for up to 12 guests, and a comfortable living area with a large sectional sofa. Outside, fire up your private gas grill and dine together al fresco on the furnished deck with a table for eight. And the large grassy yard is great for family fun, while the firepit offers the perfect place to gather once the sun sets.

When it's time to hit the sand and play in the Atlantic surf, your closest options are Coast Guard Beach or Nauset Light Beach, both of which are just a little over two miles from your door. At Nauset Light Beach, you'll find a terrific, restored lighthouse that you won't want to miss! While there are several dining options up and down US-6, be sure to sample the fresh seafood at Arnold’s Lobster & Clam Bar, a local favorite offering signature lobster rolls, fried clams, ice cream, and mini-golf, all just a mile away.

Poor management, poor response to problems with property. Outside of house anf outside furn. filthy.
Not clean especially outside facilities. Sink pluggeg when we arrived. Called ,vacassa for three consecutive days. Finall someone came the night before we left. Never used Vrbo before, probably never use them again.

Nice property
I go to cape cod every year. This property is nice along with location. House could have been a bit cleaner and layout is very strange. Like the back yard. Beds are very uncomfortable. Just being honest.

Cape rental
It was lovely, everything we needed. Location was great, house was beautiful and plenty of space. Only issue was with two smoke detectors, each of the detectors that are outside the bathrooms went off randomly. One was during the day and only went off for a Few seconds. The other one went off at 2:00 in the morning though for a couple of minutes. Otherwise, everything was great!

Solid, reliable & comfortable
This property is as advertised. Overall I’d give 8.5/10 stars. Check in was easy and I was even notified we were able to get in early which was great. It’s not flashy or exciting (it’s clearly a rental property) but it’s big and relatively clean. We had 5 people staying at the house but hosted some family a few nights for dinner and it was very spacious. The outside leaves a bit to be desired as the yard is in pretty rough shape. My one suggestion for the house would be to clean up the yard a bit. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I would stay here again.

Uncomfortable beds, filthy outdoor space, broken back door..
Like other reviewers have mentioned, the check in process was rocky- hard to find the correct key box. Outdoor space was unusable, as pads were filthy and covered in matter... back sliding glass door didn't lock which was concerning. Quiet street, close to most things on the Cape. Beds, especially the double in the loft, were uncomfortable. The double in the loft felt like sleeping on the floor, and was broken. Small details missed, like no hooks or bars for towels. Toiletries were provided, which was nice. The side of the house below the loft smelled like mildew/must, and there was definite water damage in the loft ceiling. Rooms were cooled with window AC and while strong, they were loud.

Great Girls Weekend
There was 4 of us longtime friends getting together after years. Plenty of area to do that as a big group or split off. Not everyone is a conversationalist first thing in the morning. It would have been nice to have trash cans in the bedrooms. The house is great for someone who is a minimalist at heart. Nice location. An information booklet with recommendations would have been nice.

Great house that needs some TLC
This is a terrific house with an excellent layout for two families. The inside was very clean when we arrived, including linens, but the exterior features were all really dirty. The patio, furniture, gas grill and outdoor shower are all in need of a good cleaning.

Multiple lock boxes at property- not obvious which one to open! Hint- it’s the one hidden in the mulched garden, not the one on the door. Comfy house, plenty of room, convenient location and nice yard. To activate the grouchy neighbor feature, just use the fire pit. Someone came by with a chainsaw on Sunday and chopped down the swing set.

Family stay in spacious Eastham house - August 2021
Pro: Property is very large. There was five of us (3 generations of adults) and even with the maximum capacity there would have been plenty of room. Light and bright and spacious. Great set up for multi families as essentially one side of the house could be closed off from the other side of the house if need be, with a den, a loft and a full bathroom. My mom, sister, and teenage son slept in the 3 bedrooms on one side of the house and my husban and I slept in the loft on the other side of the house. There is a door between the loft area downstairs (not upstairs) and the kitchen so you can get privacy. Plenty of towels including beach towel and bedding including blankets. House was VERY clean. We rented in August and definitely needed the A/C that was there. The AC minisplit in the main area was so good and efficient that my husband decided to buy one for our own house. Kitchen had everything we needed (spices, sugar, salt, oil, coffee filters). Nice quiet street. Vacasa was very responsive. Beds were comfortable enough (my mom has a bad back so if the bed wasn't good enough we would have heard about it). A cool circular staircase to get to the loft bedroom (which was very pretty but would not be okay for people with mobility issues or very young children/toddlers). Cons: It is obvious that this is not owner occupied. Several of the bedrooms had windows with no screens so you couldn't sleep with the window open in the summer for fresh air; the choice was a/c or mosquitos. Some of the windows were broken (not the glass, just the mechanism) so couldn't open at all. No coasters anywhere in the house that we could find which sounds like a dumb thing to complain about but when you have hot coffee cups you don't want to worry about losing a security deposit because of rings on the tables . No hooks in the bathrooms to hang up wet towels (it's the little things that show the difference between rental property and owner occupied). The outside deck umbrella was broken and the upstairs bed was broken and no one knew and there was one other problem with the gas stove. (To be fair the maintenance gentleman came out pretty immediately and was very nice and helpful and they did give us a reasonable partial refund.) Would I stay there again? YES if they put screens on all the windows and fixed the broken windows so they opened and spent $5 on hooks for the bathrooms.

Take a close look at the pics before booking. This is a very basic rental. No blankets for the beds, super basic kitchen. (hope you don't cook a lot). Only 1 TV and it wasn't in the living room. It was in a non air conditioned den that sat 3. (1 love seat and 1 chair. Not even a coffee table) Spiders EVERYWHERE! Broken swingset. This is a rental run by a rental company and not the actual owner of the house so it was very neglected.

Cape Cod Stay
The property was as expected based on the listing. Some of the lighting and hardware were missing (towel hooks, bathroom lights, one bedroom had no ceiling lights or lamps), but it didn't impact the overall stay. The kitchen was well provisioned, and the grill and fire pit made for an enjoyable stay. Plenty of seating and sleeping areas. Our party of 8 had ample space. Also the location is nicely situated about 25 minutes from p- town, along with many other amenities and activities. Vacasa made the rental process seamless, even calling during arrival to let us know how to reach them if anything was needed. I would rent with this company again.
