“The Lumen Nature Retreat was a fantastic choice for a first time camper, like myself. The campsite was a perfect retreat at the end of a day of hiking, and provided the comforts of a beautifully maintained bathroom/shower that was a quick walk from my site. The safari tent was a great choice too, with plenty of space to get settled with a nice comfy bed to rest at the end of a long day. “This tent and property are beautiful! The management was super helpful with any issues or questions we had and even called ahead to make sure we were going to be okay with the cold night temps (stayed in early October). Evan was super helpful and also very funny which helped us feel more welcomed. The trails on the property offered a peaceful little hike with some beautiful places to stop by the creek. We were pretty close to base camp with made it very easy to use the kitchen and bathrooms. The……
