“We really enjoyed our stay! The listing said it had a hot tub but when we arrived it didn’t. I read after that the external company listed it incorrectly. The only down side was the property wasn’t cleaned very well - old used contact lenses around the desk and bedside table and there was hairs on the bathroom shelf. I did a quick clean myself and throughly enjoyed the rest of our week the location was perfect and our lodge was next to the pond which was lovely.”

“We loved sitting out on the patio area, watching the goings on around the place, the tv wasn’t on at all. Visited Brampton for some excellent food and loved the Lanercost Priory when we visited there. Miltonrigg woods was just 2 minutes drive for a lovely dog walk as well. Could have done with a parasol on the patio when the sun was strongest but our intention was met for a few days of chilling. The staff were all friendly and we had a lovely breakfast at the cafe on our departure. ”

“Photos certainly do not do this house justice. We were a party of 9 adults and one dog and we had so much space. We particularly loved the huge kitchen table where we spent lots of time chatting, playing games etc. Highly reccommended.”

“Property was beautiful but the sofa bed was very hard and uncomfortable for a third adult. Apart from that, everything was wonderful and the view was lovely.”

“This home was perfect for our family get away! It was clean and well equipped for us to spend our days out exploring but able to come back and prepare dinner. There was pizza and ice cream available on site as well. So comfortable.”

“Keswick Reach was a lovely place to stay and very secluded... too secluded for us. Our car broke down on day 3 of a 5 day stay. We were left solely dependent on what little food we had, what the shop sold and what the restaurant served. We found the shop lacked items like bacon, sausages, bread, etc but had a lot of sweets and crisps. It is far from other shops so we expected more. My dad can't have cheese as it sets his heart out of rhythm, so he could only have garlic bread when it was pizza……

“A well presented, equipped and located property. We were a party of 6 and struggled with 3 of the beds being fold up or fold out. Ideal for 3 people though. ”

“Perfect place to unwind and relax after our wedding in Gretna Green. Lovely hot tub and fenced off garden for the pup. ”
