“Nice place .few points could do with some thought .pillows all very hard. Should have two of each to accomode different needs. For the price (£170) would have expected a decent level coffee offer and maybe a small fridge . As a frequent traveler this would be expected at this price level . Shower dispensers hadn't been filled fully . ”

“Excellent from start to finish Warm welcome from Tim and Robbie. Room spacious and clean. Bathroom spotless and spacious. Very accomodating for our two little dogs (even after one of them was a bit naughty at dinner on Friday). Food was amazing big shout out to the chef Jake, keep enjoying your rugby. The hotel was really convenient for the Church service and we found out that the family had in fact chosen it for the after funeral venue. Our stay was very comfortable. The staff were very attentive and helpful and the food was superb. Choices were very difficult to make for dinner because they were so varied and when served they certainly did not disappoint. “The stay was fine, upon our arrival our meeting was " fill in the form, follow the arrows to your room" What I expected was " welcome to the royal, your room is on the third floor and arrows point out the way, do you require assistance with your bags" The room was clean but the mirror was in the wrong place as there was no lights for makeup application. The hotel is under refurbishment so allowance must be made. One complaint is: we were the only guests and we went out and our room was not……

“Overall a nice property with friendly staff in a good easily walkable location to the seafront and shops bars there. It has a nice bar and does good food in the restaurant and the general areas were well kept. What let it down for me was the room we had was lacking in that there was very poor water pressure in the shower, tv didn’t work, minimal hanging space and generally tired. They do have different types of rooms however and we were staying in what I think was the oldest part of the property……
