“Nice hotel. We were going on a one day train ride with Potomac Eagle railroad in Romney, which was about a half an hour away. There weren’t a lot of hotels to choose from and we were kind of hesitant, but it turned out great. Very friendly staff & the rooms were clean. Bed was comfy! “Rode my bike 77 miles in the heat to this place including 1.5 miles up a very steep hill. I was sweaty and tired. How nice to meet Xander who not only patiently checked me in but offered me a water... the elevator was fast, the room spotless, and laundry efficient. It was nice they had a limited beer selection. I was disappointed the fridge was off, but my wife suggested using the ice bucket to keep the beer cold and it worked. My biggest disappointment was no food within walking distance and……
