The location is great. Next door to the zoo and multiple bus stops nearby, making for easy transit to different locations throughout the city. Not easily accessible for strollers or wheelchairs (lots of steps to get to the entrance doors unless you go uphill around the building). Breakfast buffet was inexpensive but the food was not very good. Convenient but limited food options and the quality and taste of the food was mediocre at best. The cost for the room was extremely expensive, probably because there were multiple events going on in the city the weekend we were there (over $1K USD for one room with breakfast). We did have a family room and that was nice, as we had multiple beds, which made for a more comfortable stay with three adults and a child in the room. Overall, not a bad place for a short stay, but definitely over-priced for the quality of what we paid for.

Great place to stay with the family. Directly next to the zoo and very close to the Edinburgh sites and sports grounds. Rooms spotless and had a recent revamp. Nice yo have a pool too. Will definitely stay again.

Upon arrival, our bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. We were tired and wanted to shower and go to bed but had to wait for someone to come clean the bathroom and give us clean towels. When we asked for some sort of reduction in our bill, they said only Expedia could do that since we went through that app.

I love this place. All of the staff are so kind, professional and helpful. I love all of the programs and services that they provide as well. The bus stops are right in front of the property so it's only a 2 min walk from the building. The morning buffet's decent, there's plenty of chocies for meat, I just wish they had more vegetables and salads.

We liked the restaurant available in the hotel and they serve alcohol pretty late at the bar but the rooms were smaller than expected. The hot tub in the pool area makes you get out every 12 minutes for 7 minutes so it can clean itself just an fyi. Everyone wad very friendly and helpful though. We would stay again.

The hotel was under renovations so taking that into consideration it was a nice place to say and will only get nicer. The staff were very kind and incredible - would go out of your way to support your needs. The location is great if you only plan on golfing or going to the zoo but otherwise isn’t near anything (e.g. bars, restaurants, etc). Would recommend the hotel for a nice quick stay but not for a long period (unless you really like golfing or the zoo than enjoy). Ultimately thank you to the staff ! Y'all were great !

Direkt am Edinburgh Zoo angegliedert lag das Hotel. Mit dem Bus, der direkt vor der Tür abfährt, gelangt man direkt in die Innenstadt oder in die andere Richtung zum Flughafen. Beides ist ca. 20 Min. Busfahrt entfernt. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir konnten unser 4er Zimmer sogar gesplittet bezahlen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und modern. Die Logik der Platzierung von Lampen und dazugehörigen Schaltern war etwas sinnfrei. Ist eher für Familien geeignet. Die Zwischentür, die das anliegende Zimmer verbindet, hat leider gar keine Geräuschisolierung, sodass man alles aus dem Nachbarzimmer hören konnte. Der Sport- und Wellnessbereich war gut, leider sind die Decken total verschimmelt. Andere Gäste haben sich vorm Eintauchen ins Schwimmbecken nicht abgeduscht, daher sind wir im Endeffekt nicht lange geblieben. Gepäckaufbewahrung lief problemlos ab und ich konnte den gesamten Tag vor der Abreise noch die Stadt erkunden.

Property is close to the airport and just in front of the zoo. A short 3 mile stroll to the city center or the bus stops right in front of the property. Parking is a little tight and limited, but we had no problems squeezing our tiny car into the spaces. The common areas of the property are updated and clean. The rooms were clean, but could use some updates as grout was missing in the bathroom, loose tiles, dust in the air vents, and mildew in the bathrom. Also the walls are thin, so expext to hear your neighbors conversations well into the wee hours. Other than that, our stay was great.

Tv missing majority of channels and unable to tune, room & bathroom really small especially for price. Bathroom door delaminating and large burn mark to dresser. Free car parking a bonus, but quite tight spaces. Love Edinburgh but won’t stay here again unfortunately.
