It's crucial to know what the Moxy is, and what it isn't.
If you want a standard front-desk/concierge experience, with a lobby and porters, keep looking.
If you want a dresser to store your clothes in, keep looking.
If you want a room service menu and service, keep looking.
If you want a bathtub, keep looking.
If you want a mini-fridge or microwave in your room, keep looking.
If you want a coffeemaker, keep looking. (There is a water cooker and instant coffee, however.)
If you want a staffed restaurant, keep looking.
If you want a pool, keep looking.
However, if you want a hassle-free stay in a small, clean room with very little storage but also with a nice shower, plenty of linens, and super convenient for taxi, bus, walking, and Uber availability - this is a great choice.
The staff are mostly what this Boomer would call kids. But these "kids" are efficient, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile. My stay was fantastic, and if I'm in the city again, I'll likely choose the Moxy.
