We surely enjoyed our stay at the Abbey Residence.. my family and I had a blast especially with their customer service.. shout out to Niko the owner and Romick his close friend for taking care of us. This hotel is on a bus route straight into city and was definitely a great value for money option. It has a new owner who is working hard to make it a great destination. He was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good too - small buffet but fresh and tasty. I’d definitely stay again.

I stayed here for a night whilst traveling solo for the first time, though I wish I could’ve stayed longer. Everything was lovely and professional, as were the owners. I had the pleasure of speaking with each of them—they are truly the kindest souls, and gave very helpful recommendations concerning Edinburgh activities. My room was very comfortable; the bathroom was warm, which was very pleasant after a chilly day; and the neighborhood around the hotel is adorable and quiet if you prioritize beauty rest. I don’t really eat breakfast, but it is served everyday between 7:30 and 9:30AM if you need a pick-me-up. Truly a gem if you get to stay here after the business of Edinburgh’s center; and absolutely worth the price—I highly recommend! Transportation to and from the city center is easy both by bus or car.
