“We had a great stay in this beautiful Shawshank themed home! It is approximately 15 minutes from downtown Mansfield and The Ohio State Reformatory. Downtown Mansfield had several roads closed due to construction, so unfortunately we weren’t able to see several of the locations on the Shawshank Driving Tour. We drove to Wooster while staying in the area and ate at Omahoma Bob’s BBQ, which was FANTASTIC! Highly recommend!! Downtown Wooster has a lot of nice shops to browse and plenty of……

“Clean and roomy, booked for location and separate bedrooms/baths. Quiet stay. Had to fix thermostat ourselves to get the AC working and one of the showers wasn’t usable. Had no water pressure (checked the shutoffs but they looked ok). Pre arrival email mentioned parking pass in lockbox but found only keys. After some back and forth with support just had the license plates for our vehicles reported to office. Support was prompt in contacting property for maintenance issues but no one ever showed.……

Two great spots to sit outside and see cows mosey through a meadow in close distance and deer comfortable in their natural setting.So visit John, grab some good food to cook in the spacious kitchen and remember to enjoy the simple specialness of life.”
