I recently stayed at this establishment for over three weeks for work, and my experience was marred by significant concerns. Despite the staff's efforts to accommodate guests, the property seemed to struggle with issues related to safety and maintenance. There were frequent disturbances, including fights and substance use, which made me hesitant to leave my room after dark. My work schedule was demanding, with early departures (between 7:30-8 AM) and late returns (often around 10 PM), which further added to my isolation.
Some incidents stood out, such as encountering a distressed woman in a vulnerable situation who didn't receive assistance, and being awoken by a violent altercation outside my room. I reported the incident and requested security, but their response was unclear. The prevalence of full-time residents seemed to contribute to the chaotic environment.
I was worried about the staff's safety, but I chose to stay in my room to avoid potential risks. As I had a cat with me, I didn't use room service. However, I did encounter some issues with basic amenities, such as a lack of toilet paper sheets, towels,non-functional water slides, pool and gym areas were often closed.
The included breakfast was limited to bagels, toast, waffles, and beverages, with no hot options available without visiting the unlicensed restaurant. My one experience with ordering a pizza was disappointing, as it was dry and lacked toppings. Overall, my stay was durable.
Elevator never worked.
