“It was wonderful to get away to the beautiful surroundings of Minnesota. Quiet, serene, tranquil. Mid-July was definitely a time for biting insects, but apply Off and enjoy the lake. We had everything we needed and more. It was nice to stay at a listing that took the extra step to provide things like trash bags, tp paper, and paper towels. Can't say enough positive things about the owner and communication. 10/10 for sure! Would definitely stay again if vacationing in that part of the US. ”

“It is a nice rustic cabin to stay in, but it has the amenities you need, including good Wi-Fi - as long as a teenager doesn't unplug the router to plug in a fan. We used it as a base camp to fish area lakes, but it would be a good place to take a smaller outdoor oriented family. There's a lot of yard and a really nice lake with very nice sandy bottom and relatively good fishing.”

“Very well taken care of cabin in an extremely relaxing setting. It was very clean, despite having neighbors a couple hundred yards away, felt very private. The Loons & Frogs are the only sounds around sunrise and sunset, with a pair of eagles talking to each other as they fished. Would highly recommend for a place to paddle and decompress. ”

“Beautiful historic log cabin with all the amenities you would want. The grounds are well kept and very scenic. The area is very peaceful, relaxing, and interesting. This is our second year coming to the Marcel Lodge and have had a fantastic experience both times.”

“Kyle’s property is beautiful. Home was well stocked, clean and made for a perfect vacation. The large deck has wonderful lakefront views and spot for relaxing. The gym was a great feature for those who want to stay active and for fun family games of HORSE. Kyle was great in responding promptly through the reservation process and the neighbors are very friendly. The Side Lake Store is perfect for those things you may have forgotten, they are very friendly. We even caught a book signing by a local……
