This is an older hotel property. It is still in good shape, but shows definite signs of age. It was built in the old motor hotel style, but also has a large indoor pool area (not in a heated space) and some space for meetings. The room I stayed in was clean enough, not spotless, but very worn and dated. The shower head sprayed as much water sideways as it did straight out. The tub drain was very slow. The bed was on the soft side but not too soft. Pillows were very flimsy. Linens and towels were nice and soft. But a few of the washcloths and towels had permanent stains and should have been taken out of rotation. The front desk was rarely manned. That said, the two people that worked there that I did interact with were very nice and helpful. A big plus is the two very good Tex Mex restaurants, one at either end of the property and an easy walk. Helpful since there is no restaurant on site. Only a bar with gambling machines open in the evening. The continental breakfast was the typical pastries and a waffle iron. No proteins. The fresh fruit was abundant and high quality. There is also yogurt. There is brewed coffee available at all times, which was great for an early riser like me. Overall my stay was what I expected knowing that it was an older facility and given the very economical price point. Since it was only a mile from the office I was visiting the location was perfect. There is a lot of new either just built or being built nearby so plenty of dining and shopping .
