“Our stay at the four bedroom log cabin was wonderful. We were in town for my son’s graduation from VT and this house was perfect for our family. The kitchen was great and well stocked, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms were very nice! Loved the large outdoor deck with a huge wrap around couch. We enjoyed eating dinner outside on the deck! “This cabin in the lake is a gem. It’s everything you need and super well equipped and organized. The owner was very responsive. It’s a beauty on the lake with a private dock, a beautiful back porch overlooking the lake, a picnic/grill area with table and chairs also overlooking the lake. It was 25 minutes from Tech, so very convenient. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It’s what we needed to get away for the weekend. The place has everything we needed and it has that simple yet cozy feel to it. We love how quiet it is staying there, the surroundings are clean and it’s that secluded yet close to everything little peaceful place we needed.Host was great at communicating with us as well. “We initially chose this property because it was a halfway meeting point for three couples. The accommodations exceeded expectations. The layout of the living room and kitchen provided a nice flow for all to hangout. We brought kayaks and bikes and spent time exploring the river as well as the local trails. We even brought our cat who enjoyed sitting on the porch and window sills. The only thing we wish we could change was the size of the two first floor bedrooms. A little small but not a deal……

“The place is totally awesome. My family of 10 came in for a wedding from Alabama & Pennsylvania . It had well enough bedding and very large open kitchen with living room concept for all of us to be together. The house her been recently renovated and has beautiful colors and very large bathrooms . My grandkids were able to play in the creek that was in the backyard . We are coming back for another family wedding in October and will definitely try to get the house again.”

“First and foremost, the property was as described and very clean. This is the last cabin on this trail and the privacy is very nice. Very well appointed and had everything we needed. From relaxing in the hot tub or sitting by the fire listening to the water it was so relaxing and peaceful. We will definitely be returning. ”

“We stayed in this rental for my daughter’s Virginia Tech graduation. I’m 100% going to come back. The property was beautiful, comfortable, and well appointed. The owners were super responsive, kind, and attentive. I only wish we hadn’t been running the roads back and forth to Blacksburg because it was entirely relaxing to sit out and enjoy the creek. We loved our stay and look forward to returning.”
