“Family had to travel out for a funeral. The location was secluded and just what we needed to relax while facing an emotional weekend.”

“Buddies and I do a fishing trip every spring. This is year our 13th year. This is one of the most convenient places we’ve stayed. The dock is right there within walking distance. You could also walk to a diner nearby. It had everything we needed for our stay. We brought two boats and had hookups for them. Overall great trip and we’d definitely book here again. If I had to pick to thing that’s the only negative is the zero cancellation policy. Because unfortunately life happens. But the rest was……

“ Our stay was great!! And loved the outdoors. My husband could not find the 3 ponds that were listed. There was a note on frig about the ponds, he could not find but one. Also someone had left the dryer full of sheets, towels and etc. I do have a suggestion for the hospitality of this place. Have some coffee samples, and salt and pepper, in the kitchen. We came and it would have been nice to have just some different coffees. Only half a roll of paper towels. And a……

“We had the best time in Guntersville while celebrating my cousin’s 74th birthday! The host was so kind and helpful! The cabin was perfect for us! We spent so much time around the big table while we played dominoes and laughed lots! Location was a plus as we were close to the restaurants we love! We highly recommend this cabin for your next getaway! ”

“We needed a place to stay close to an event we were attending. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the property. The cabin was clean and maintained. We loved the wildlife nd the farm animals.”

“We stayed for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. The location is great. We walked to Wintzell's for dinner our first night and had a wonderful meal. The next day we rented a pontoon for the afternoon and explored Lake Guntersville. Spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the lake, watching the cranes, ducks and turtles. We even saw an eagle. Great place to stay. ”

“Stayed here with another family for a softball tournament in nearby Albertville. Overall, great stay. For anyone coming in the future, be aware there is not a hair dryer, so being your own if you need it. Would have liked some extra blankets available, but that is just a personal preference. ”
