“Love the property. This is our second stay here. Everyone loved the dock, fire pit area and large dining table. We fished, swam, roasted marshmallows and played dominoes. It was great!”

“We found the property to be very nice and in a good neighborhood. The weather was not that great so we didn't avail ourselves of the pool. The kitchen could use a few more glasses, there were no juice size or regular tumblers. We felt that there wasn't anywhere to set a drink or a cup of coffee in the living room. A couple of those brown tables like in the ones in the bedroom would do the trick. We also would have liked to have instructions for TV remotes. We spent over an hour trying to figure……

I arrived later than I expected and the lights had been turned on for me to create a peaceful scene after a long car ride. Beautiful property inside and out!Sitting on the back porch swing watching the sunset was breathtakingDaphne is a super cute city with plenty to do and close enough to the beaches that you can spend the day there and still come home to a welcoming spot of your own!If……

“We really enjoyed our stay. The home was beautiful and it was refreshing to stay in a home and neighborhood with so much history and beautiful architecture. We did wish there was a little blurb with history of the house and neighborhood. It would just add to the experience.Hosts were attentive to any needs we might have, although all was provided.The home was clean, beds were comfortable, plenty of high end linens. Our favorite place was the back porch. We spent morning and evening hours……

“This is is a great place to stay. Close to Dauphine Island. Everything was perfect, but the can opener and the bunk bed. The lower bed mattress needs to be replaced, as you'll fall into the middle unless you sleep diagonally. It's great having the beautiful porch for coffee looking into the woods. Loved it here.”

“The house was incredibly lovely. It is a historically listed home. The house is large enough to accommodate our family of 13. We really enjoyed our stay. Lovely neighborhood. We really enjoyed being able to relax on the porches. Would definitely recommend.”
