“Excellent, friendly service. Comfortable and spacious lounge and bedrooms. Easy to warm up with a heatpump. Great kitchen. The children enjoyed having netflix and youtube too. The motel could benefit from some ventilation though, especially in the bathroom. Overall a pleasant stay. Thank you.”

“The Totara Lodge was a good choice for our one night stay in Levin. It is in a quiet location just to the west of the main street, and in easy walking distance to dining options and supermarkets. The room had everything we needed and was clean and tidy. Can recommend the local Som Thum Thai on the main street if you’re looking for a quick meal (good food, licensed, good service). ”

“Owners were very nice. There is a wonderful bike trail one block away that connects to the Wamatu Gorge area. In the warmer months there are eels in the river and streams. Electric charging is about 5 blocks away and is fast. ”
